Apparently RapidRip is only an audio CD ripper, and it is, but that`s just a small part of what it can do. It also lets you edit the tags of the extracted files, automatically get information from the FreeDB website, keep the resulting files with the structure of the original, etc.

When ripping, the RapidRip user can specify the audio format they want the extracted file to be, choosing among formats as diverse as MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, ADPCM, A-LAW, MP3 or VOX. The user can also configure the compression level required, or the frequency and bitrate.

The whole RapidRip conversion is done very quickly, without hardly losing quality in the resulting files in comparison with the originals.
